BAND DISCOVERED
That was definitely far too long ago. Tall Ships found their way into my playlists — and my heart — with songs like “T=0” and “Gallop.” That was back in 2012, at the tail end of that 2000s indie era when bands like Biffy Clyro, Delta Spirit or Japandroids were at their peak. Tall Ships were the smaller, lesser-known name in that world. Which, of course, is exactly the kind of thing every record collector and music nerd loves. After five years without a release, they returned in 2017 with Impressions, an album that still sounds fantastic to me today. The band broke up not long afterwards. I never got the chance to see Tall Ships live, but their songs have stayed with me ever since.

WISH
I still desperately need to get their debut album Everything Touching on vinyl.
