Honestly, I’m no longer 100 percent sure through which medium I first discovered the band. Whether it was the social media algorithm—if you follow and listen to bands like Saturdays At Your Place, Ben Quad, TRSH, or Carpool—or the small, up-to-date news posts from blogs such as Various Small Flames, Small Albums (sic), Post-Trash, or others. In any case, Best Buds caught me so much that I had to order the 7″ from the USA via Thumbs Up Records. And the little vinyl is extremely entertaining and very, very good. The debut album is scheduled for release in January 2026.

BESIDES THAT
Unfortunately, Thumbs Up Records, a one-man operation, temporarily ceased its activities in November 2024. Hopefully you’re doing well, Brady.

WISH
With the signing to Wax Bodega, several doors are likely opening for Red Sun. Hopefully they’ll make it across the big pond to Europe someday.
