BAND DISCOVERED
I first came across FCUKERS when live clips of their songs Bon Bon and Homie Don’t Shake started popping up all over social media – mostly shared by musicians and other people based in New York. Once I realized they were playing their first-ever show at Baby’s All Right, I decided to dig a little deeper. After all, Baby’s All Right has built a reputation as one of New York City’s best venues for discovering exciting new indie acts. Before long, the band’s first singles found their way onto my playlists. Somehow, despite their beat-driven sound, I always thought of FCUKERS as an indie band rather than an electronic act. As more singles followed, that impression only grew stronger, eventually leading up to the release of their debut album, Ö.

BESIDES THAT
It was great to catch them live at Gebäude 9 in Cologne for their first-ever show in Germany. I even caught myself dancing a little – which doesn’t happen that often.

WISH
I think they’re living their dream right now. They just keep getting bigger and bigger. I hope they stay true to themselves.
